Typical predecessor: 1.60.0 (04tal000006hQS1AAM).
Highlights
- Messaging attachments are clearer: attachments now show richer metadata (including size cues) and are presented in a more readable, space-efficient layout.
- More consistent phone matching: phone normalisation and matching has been tightened so country code vs non-country code variations match more reliably (including in the Customer Survey and customer matching flows).
- Cleaner phone input: when Contact Home Phone and Customer Queue phone values are saved, unexpected characters are removed to keep phone data consistent.
What’s new for everyone
- Messaging UX improvements: message threads are easier to scan, with cleaner attachment presentation and refined inbox layout/styling.
- Fewer “duplicate” surprises: contacts are more likely to be matched correctly when the same phone number is entered with different formatting (for example
+1 555…vs555…). - Cleaner saved phone values: stray characters are removed during save for Contact and Customer Queue phone inputs, reducing hard-to-detect mismatches.
What’s new for administrators and data stewards
- Contact + Customer Queue phone cleaning: phone inputs are cleaned on save to remove unexpected characters while preserving common phone formatting characters (for example digits, spaces, parentheses,
+, and hyphens). This reduces mismatches caused by pasted or invisible characters. - Contact — Normalised Phone: matching logic across the app now handles both “with country code” and “without country code” variations more consistently when the same number is represented in different formats.
- Customer Queue — Normalised Phone: normalisation is aligned to the same approach as Contact, and customer matching checks both representations (with and without country code where applicable).
- Customer Survey matching: the survey’s phone-based lookup checks for matches using both the normalised value and a country-code-prefixed variant, improving match rates without requiring users to enter phone numbers in a single strict format.
